How does ablative JETT Plasma remove a lesion by sublimation?

Three keys: a non-contact electric arc that sublimates the lesion point by point, precise targeting to protect nearby tissues, and natural healing with a protective scab that forms and falls away on its own.

01

Sublimation

The JETT tip generates an electric arc that ionizes the air between the device and the skin. This arc sublimates the lesion point by point.

02

Precision

The arc acts on a very small area, allowing the lesion to be removed without damaging the surrounding skin. Suitable for the delicate eyelid area.

03

Healing

After the session, the body naturally forms a scab that protects the area while it heals. It falls off on its own in 7 to 14 days.

Are you a candidate for ablative JETT Plasma for xanthelasma, skin tags, or milia?

If you have a benign eyelid lesion that you would like to remove without surgery, you can discuss ablative JETT Plasma with the clinic physician.

For which lesions is ablative JETT Plasma indicated?

Several types of benign eyelid skin lesions that may benefit from non-surgical removal. The physician will determine whether this applies to your individual case.

Xanthelasmayellow plaques on the eyelid, often at the inner corner, that do not go away on their own.

Skin tagssmall stalked skin growths at the edge or base of the eyelids.

Miliasmall white spots under the skin around the eyes, sometimes appearing in clusters.

Several benign lesions to be removed in a single session on one or both eyelids.

Patients who wish to avoid traditional surgery with incisions and stitches.

When Ablative JETT Plasma Cannot Be Used

JETT Plasma works by using an electrical current to sublimate the skin. Certain situations can make you ineligible for this treatment. Our team reviews these factors systematically before your session.

Pacemaker, defibrillator, or any implanted electronic device that could be affected by electrical current.

Active herpes on or near the eyelid — risk of reactivation; should be treated before the session.

Accutane or Roaccutane taken in the last 6 months — wait until the required period has passed before treatment.

Dark skin — higher risk of lighter or darker spots; discuss in detail beforehand.

Known tendency to keloid or hypertrophic scars.

Ablative JETT Plasma Removal at Experience Care: What to Expect

Three main steps: evaluation and numbing, sublimation, and natural healing.

01

Examination, local anesthesia, and planning

Lesion examination (size, appearance, location) and confirmation it is benign. Anesthetic cream 30 to 60 min beforehand. Small injection possible for larger lesions.

02

Precise lesion sublimation

The practitioner applies the JETT tip above the skin, without contact. An electric arc sublimes the lesion point by point. Clicking sound and a slight smoky odor are normal.

03

Healing and return to activities

Small dark brown dots on the treated area. You can leave immediately. A scab forms and falls off naturally within 7-14 days. No makeup before it falls off, and SPF 50+ sun protection for 4-8 weeks.

FAQS
How long does a session last?

The procedure itself takes about 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the number and size of the lesions. The entire visit, including examination and anesthetic application, lasts about 1 hour at the clinic.

Is the treatment painful?

A numbing cream is applied 30 to 60 minutes before the session. For larger xanthelasmas, a small injection may be added. You might experience a brief sensation of warmth or tingling, but no significant pain.

How many sessions are needed?

This depends on the type of lesion. Skin tags: usually just one session. Xanthelasma:1 to 2 sessions depending on size. Milia:1 to 2 sessions depending on the number of spots.

Will I have a scar?

The ablative mode removes the lesion using sublimation, without any incision. The risk of scarring is reduced compared to traditional surgery. A scab will form on the treated area and will fall off naturally within 7 to 14 days.

How does healing progress?

After the session, small dark brown dots appear on the treated area. A scab forms over the following days and usually falls off within 7 to 14 days. The skin typically returns to its normal appearance within about 1 month.
